Taylor gets an Honorary Certificate from Tough Mudder

For those of you who do not “Facebook” – the following is a Facebook entry made by Jim Campbell of Tough Mudder fame.
“This is Taylor Stark, in 2012 he was involved in an accident where he was thrown face first into a tree from his 4-wheeler, resulting in fracturing his skull, jaw, both eye sockets and numerous brain injuries. In the last 2 years Taylor has endured 6 neuro surgeries, 3 facial reconstructions, and has lost his sight. In fact, one surgery was 7 days ago and the headband he is wearing covered up the full length of his incision. Needless to say it’s been a long road back for Taylor.Taylors Mother Lisa Marie Ansay was warmed to the idea of a TM after I had shared Taylors story with Metrx Legit Strong. She had also read my story “overcoming obstacles” on the TM FB page, after that her and I talked about the possibility of Taylor doing a Tough Mudder one day. After speaking with her about the progress of his recovery I felt Taylor had the “right stuff” to conquer a Tough Mudder.I Know Taylor has a ways to go, but I have come down to Phoenix to surprise him by giving him a little incentive,….presenting him with a complimentary TM Entry ( Courtesy of WTM Community and TM).We have also made him an “Honorary Tough Mudder” . This Award included all his care givers who have helped him along the way in a “Obstacle Overcome” notation. I assured him when he was ready, he would not be alone  Ken JacobusMatty GreggCory OttThien-than C Su-ChetJordan SmithPJ Jaegersen, Mudbeast MurphyBrett TankScott RummelMichael BeverDevon MuskoAndrew BlakleyBrady ArcherAlexander B. If any of you are interested in also running the Tough Mudder with Taylor, it’s about one year away, but he will keep you posted as to where and when!
