Today was a rest day as far as the PT, OT, and ST with a professional team. We had plenty of fun as amateurs though as T was still working on many little things that will all add up to a big gain with the pros. He was up and down out of bed several times getting to his chair and letting me know he had to go to the bathroom, which is a different chair, improving on every transfer. His movements were much more fluid today and he is gaining strength and balance each time he stands. Tomorrow, being a holiday, will not have all three of the groups working with him but he will have two speech therapy segments and one occupational therapy, no PT. His speech had improved overnight and throughout the day he was getting better yet. Two ST’s will be great for him. All in all a great day.
