By Ron Stark — As I posted last night T was to have a discounted scheduled day because of the holiday. NOT SO FAST. He is required to have a minimum three hours of therapy per day and he will have it. The three hours turns out to be close to an eight hour day for him. Finally at 9 pm he was ready to call it a day, 16 hours of being up, being asked the same old questions ( wiggle your toes squeeze my hand etc etc) he finally went to sleep, knowing tomorrow will be more grueling than the last. Between all of his therapy time he still needs his scheduled medicines, which includes nutrition, blood thinners, antibiotics, eye drops, blood draws, etc This is all orchestrated throughout the day to try not to overlap any med time or therapy time. The facility is excellent and the people who are working with T are really professional. He knows this, respects them and works hard to please them. When asked to to do ten reps he gives them eleven, fifteen times now T, he does sixteen. Would you expect anything less?
