By Ron Stark — After a very relaxing Sunday, Taylor was back to his therapies early today. With a 101 fever he was hard at it by 7:30. His OT was in first, making him dress himself, including tying his shoes. Speech was next followed by PT where he walked,(assisted for balance by a walker and a therapist), further than he had walked before. About 150 yards. Another OT session and once again ST where he is gaining on the ability to speak and swallow. I am sure he would love to eat real food again soon. At 4:00 he was listening to Bob Marley “Let this be love” on Pandora radio…………he didn’t make it to song two before he was off to dreamland. This is his last day of antibiotics as all tests and cultures have come back negative. The high temp is still puzzling, sodium levels still up and down….More work to do for the docs…..more work for T tomorrow.
