Taylor went into the hospital through ER for doctor’s to investigate the source of infection causing Taylor’s fevers to spike, and general malaise.
Upon entering the hospital, and the processes involved with intake, two doses of a critical medication were missed (or held); the drug that regulates his sodium.
Doctor’s are still investigating infection source, and now also dealing with sodium levels that far exceed normal limits. Even doses of the medication necessary to regulate are not helping.
He is not very responsive at this time, (vastly different from yesterday morning before his sodium spiked) and MRI and CT scan data are being compiled.
An initial head CT (in ER) did show an air pocket near his brain, which is actually an artifact of a previous surgery, but it has increased a bit in size.
In the meantime, docs are trying to get his sodium levels under control, and keep him comfortable.
Neurosurgeons are convening now…
