recovery

Taylor’s surgery took just over two hours, and surgeons were able to address all they intended to repair.

He is sleepy, but alert and oriented, and already been giving folks a hard time, and letting nurses know what’s up. He’s in a bit of pain, but refusing pain meds, as usual. The nurses know better and are keeping him comfortable.

He looks good. They were able to rotate the jaw segments and cheek bones, and even with the swelling, you can see the difference in symmetry.

He’s heading to ICU for the next few days.
