Taylor was in his chair around 8am today, earlier than previous mornings. He was very active and very responsive to simple commands as well as very curious about all of the tubes and wires hanging off of him. He would grab a line, lean forward, bend his head down and examine what ever he was holding. The baseball was still a big deal today also. At one point he had dropped it on the floor and tried to reach out in that direction to retrieve it,and then pointed in that direction. Now that his sodium level has been in a normal range for 24 hours the nurse was thinking that might have something to do with his being a little more alert. She also reminded us that because he did move a bit that he would be extremely tired. Using an analogy of us running a marathon daily. He has slept from 10 am until now and doesn’t look like he will be waking any time soon, he looks very comfortable His vitals are all really good, blood pressure 120/80, heart rate 75-85,oxygen level at 100 most all of the time. This was another good day. Keep up all the good work ….. your prayers are being answered. THANK YOU
