Taylor after surgery Feb 2014

Taylor is feeling pretty good, and the swelling and bruising is starting to subside.

Medical staff are still administering pain meds every four hours to stay ahead of the pain.

We will know more today about how his heart rate reacts to activity, as he is still on ‘bed rest’.

The CT scans show everything looks great.  No sign of infection anywhere, and the high body temperatures are easily remedied with pulling blankets and cooling the room.

He has been cleared by ID (infectious disease) to go home, and awaiting clearance from internal medicine, plastics and endocrine.

His mind is good – I told him I brought him a movie from home (that has action description for vision impaired) called Now You See Me, about the illusionists that pull off a bank heist.

He shook his head, and said, “I’ve seen that one, we need the sequel Now You Caught Me.   – Not out yet?”
