Taylor had his last picc line removed last night at 8:40 pm. This enable a fantastic night’s sleep laying on his side. He slept like an angel and woke up with a glow. He cooperated enthusiastically with the difficult morning stretch and freshening up. He beat his Mom at arm wrestling and dominated this writer in a thumb wrestling event. All of this left him a little sleepy so he’s presently napping.
Back to last night. It is impressive to watch Taylor help his caregivers. He pushes his limits in speech, as well as large and small motor movements even when it appeared to hurt. Sensation is returning to Taylor’s face. He enjoyed moving a cool wash cloth over his cheeks, eye brows and lips. The power of Taylor’s optimism is amazing. Wish you all could see how much your payers help. Taylor is doing his part to get better and he is.
