A day in the life… In tradition, I have been requested to do the “guest” update. So here goes… I arrived yesterday to find Taylor going from one therapy to another. In the course of the day T was so busy, it darn near wore me out. In between his scheduled daily appointments and spending hours working with the different therapeutic departments, we walked the hallways, went to the garden, and found the cafeteria. Although it was apparent he was tired at times, he continued to press forward, pushing himself toward perfection in whatever he was doing at the time. His strength is building, and his tenacity is truly inspiring. At one point one of the doctors came in and mentioned that a staff member who had been out on vacation is coming back soon, and will be amazed at the progress Taylor has made in the last two weeks. The improvements seen in one day are incredible. However large or small, they pave the way to tomorrow. I have never seen or been more impressed by the teamwork between the Barrows Rehab team and Taylors parents. They are relentless in their efforts and he love felt when in the room is incomparable. I am honored and blessed to be here. Gudie Steinkraus-Brown
