Taylor is healing and swelling is going down quickly.
When I walked into his room this morning, his right was open and looking at me. And seeing me. It’s moving all around and blinking normally and seeing in color.
The left eye (the eye that used to have vision) is still swollen closed from the craniotomy, but it’s better by the moment.
You can see the incision in this photo; they re-opened the same incision scar from the first reconstruction. It runs ear-to-ear, and they didn’t shave his head this time, so you have to be looking for it to see it.
