This is Taylor’s new hospital room. (wink wink) Queen-sized pillow top and high thread-count sheets; he will know he has graduated to the next stage of his rehabilitation.
There was an option for a hospital bed, and if that seems to be more appropriate once he is set up, it will be delivered. But with his vision issues, he might not feel much of a difference if he goes right back into a hospital bed? Anyway, until he can see his new room, he will FEEL it. 🙂
He goes “home” to the “condo” Saturday night or Sunday morning, and Home Health Care will be setting him up with IV and food pumps, etc., and all else. His therapist will be visiting him in-home until his IV antibiotics are concluded (28 days or so) and then he will travel to the facility itself for rehab activities. And as always, Ron and I will be taking turns as his nursing staff.
Taylor’s next surgery is in approximately six to eight weeks.
The contact address has been changed, as well.
Taylor is knocking it out of the park in Inpatient Rehab, and is looking forward to graduating!
